 Basic
principles and features of GESDOC for Windows :
GesDoc for Windows is a software to Classify and Manage documents.
It helps classify, consult, take out a document...
It is compatible with all kinds of classification furniture (cupboards,
shelves, rotating filing cabinets, silo...) and benefits by a communication
protocol with all the Electroclass Automatic Filing Cabinets and Silo.
GesDoc allows THE CLASSIFICATION FUNCTION TO
BE AUTOMATIC.
How to classify a file Principle :
GesDoc manages and stores the free places, as well as their volume
(Thickness, Depth, Height). When it creates a new file, GesDoc AUTOMATICALLY
proposes a site corresponding to the width of the file to be classified.
Once such site has been validated, the place for the file is assigned.
GesDoc OFFERS A PANEL TO MEASURE WHICH IS ENRICHED WITH STATISTICS
AND/OR SEARCH MODE.
 Referencing
a file :
Referencing can be carried out through an alphanumeric criterion.
All other criteria (over 7 different search keys) will be used for
searching assistance and for compiling statistics.
All criteria can be set up according to each administratorÃs requirements.
Moreover, the necessary statistics are carried out under the form
of requests according to selected criteria.
GesDoc Presentation.
GesDoc is made out of 2 different modules :
1. The Operating
Module :
It is intended for the user and has as a function to carry out the
Inputs - Outputs - Loans - Consultations - and some basic Statistics.
Its use is very simple and user-friendly. The user reaches only the
necessary functions, without being embedded under a flood of windows
which would be of no use to handle the files.
 2.
The Master Module :
It is accessible to authorized users. Following functions can be carried
out though this module :
• Configuration of classification
systems
• Configuration of files and
filing boxes
• Configuration of the safety
system (access rights...)
• Configuration of the wording
for the tables which are relative to the
files (Designation = FILE NŠ - Reference = Subscriber
Name -
Criterion 1 = Telephone Brand Name, Criterion 2
= Area....)
• Configuration of the requests
which are necessary for the statistics : Request 1 = All users of
such telephone living in such area...
• Frequently used requests
are stored, specific requests are written upon request.
GesDoc is very EASY TO USE thanks to its OPERATING MODULE.
GesDoc ADAPTS PERFECTLY TO EACH DEPARTMENT thanks to the made-to-measure
configuration for each field.
